Starting Out
I’m from a small town in southern France called La Palme, where music got a hold of me early on, at age 4. By 10, I was already gigging with metal bands, and by 14, I found myself in professional studios, soaking up everything I could. Music has always been my thing, and it’s what’s kept me moving forward ever since.
Learning
I started with drum lessons at a local municipal music school, then spent a lot of time practicing on my own by just listening to music. After finishing high school, I studied at the Centre des Musiques Didier Lockwood in Paris. I also did a semester at the Faculdade de Música Souza Lima/Berklee in São Paulo, which really broadened my perspective. By 21, I was living in Paris and making a living from my art.
